Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective Date: March 1, 2026 · Last Updated: March 1, 2026
Our Commitment to You
Angel & Manna Bakery does not sell your personal information to third parties. Massachusetts does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy law equivalent to California's CCPA that grants a statutory "do not sell" right to MA residents. However, as a courtesy to all customers — and to comply with applicable laws for customers in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states — we provide this opt-out mechanism for any data sharing that could qualify as a "sale" or use for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What Does 'Sell or Share' Mean Under the Law?
Under the CCPA/CPRA (California), "selling" personal information means disclosing it to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" includes disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising — even without payment.
Under similar laws in Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and other states, "targeted advertising" using personal data may require an opt-out mechanism.
Angel & Manna may share limited data (such as browsing behavior, device identifiers, or order patterns) with analytics and advertising platforms to improve our marketing and understand how customers interact with our website. This may technically constitute "sharing" under applicable law.
What Data May Be Shared?
- Website usage data (pages visited, time on site) shared with analytics providers
- Device identifiers or cookies shared with advertising platforms for retargeting
- Anonymized order pattern data used to understand product popularity
We do not share: your name, email address, phone number, payment information, order history details, health or dietary information, or loyalty account data with advertising third parties.
Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Massachusetts residents: No statutory "do not sell" right under MA law currently, but we honor opt-out requests as a best practice. Massachusetts consumers are protected against unfair data practices by the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 93A), enforceable by the MA Attorney General.
- California residents: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (CCPA/CPRA)
- Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state residents: Opt out of targeted advertising using your personal data
- All users: Manage cookie and tracking preferences via our Cookie Preferences page
We will honor your request within 15 business days. You will not be denied service, charged a different price, or treated differently for exercising this right — consistent with M.G.L. c. 93A and applicable state law.
