Sustainability
Baking well means more than great ingredients. It means caring for the planet that grows them. Here's how Angel & Manna is working toward a more sustainable future.
Our Commitment to the Planet
Sustainability isn't a trend for us — it's a responsibility. Every decision we make in our kitchen, our supply chain, and our packaging is guided by one question: is this good for people and the planet?
We're on a continuous journey to reduce our environmental footprint and operate in a way that future generations would be proud of. We're honest about where we are, and transparent about where we're going.
Local & Seasonal Sourcing
We source our ingredients from local farms and suppliers wherever possible, reducing food miles and supporting the regional agricultural community.
Zero Waste Baking
Surplus baked goods are donated daily to our community partners. Organic waste is composted, and we continuously refine our production to minimize excess.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
Our packaging is made from recycled, compostable, or biodegradable materials. We've eliminated single-use plastics from our front shop entirely.
Energy Efficiency
Our bakery is transitioning to renewable energy sources. Our ovens and equipment are maintained for peak efficiency to reduce our overall energy consumption.
Water Stewardship
We've implemented water-saving practices in our kitchen and cleaning routines, reducing our daily water usage significantly since we opened.
Responsible Distribution
Our delivery partners are selected based on their commitment to low-emission transportation. We're working toward a fully carbon-neutral local delivery model.
Our Sustainability Goals
We hold ourselves accountable to measurable targets.
100% compostable or recyclable packaging
50% reduction in carbon emissions from operations
Zero food waste from production
Carbon-neutral bakery operations
