Full Report Summary

Environmental Performance

In 2025, Angel & Manna made measurable progress in reducing its environmental footprint. We reduced our total carbon emissions by 18% compared to our 2022 baseline, primarily through energy efficiency improvements in our ovens and refrigeration systems. We transitioned 74% of all packaging to recycled, compostable, or biodegradable alternatives — a significant step toward our 2026 goal of 100%.

Waste & Resource Use

91% of our food production waste was diverted from landfill in 2025, either through our daily donation program or our organic composting partnership. Water usage was reduced by 12% through updated cleaning protocols and equipment audits. We continue to evaluate our supply chain for further reduction opportunities.

Social Impact

Through the Angel & Manna Foundation and our Community Work programs, we donated over 61,200 meals in 2025 across our partner network. Our Angels contributed 240+ volunteer hours to community initiatives including food drives, shelter support, and neighborhood events. We currently support 12 charitable organizations across New England.

Supply Chain Responsibility

63% of our ingredients are now sourced within 150 miles of our bakery, supporting local farmers and reducing food miles. We conduct annual supplier reviews to ensure alignment with our values on fair labor, environmental standards, and product quality. We are actively working to raise this sourcing percentage year on year.

Looking Ahead

Our priorities for 2026 include achieving 100% sustainable packaging, further reducing emissions through renewable energy adoption, and expanding our Foundation's reach into two additional regions. We will continue to publish this report annually and welcome accountability from our customers, partners, and community.
